Cooking is a craft and food, an art. This is the inspiration behind Cherry Garden’s branding campaign which goes beyond conventional restaurant advertising where food or chef imagery often takes center stage. The print advertisement features a series of Chinese words that reflects the philosophy of the chef – Joy, Heart and Thought.
Executed in traditional Chinese calligraphy and juxtaposed with images of Chinese crockery such as a soy sauce dish, a soup spoon and a teapot, the art direction imparts a distinctive styling that represents the character of the Cherry Garden’s cuisine – authenticity, tradition and finesse.
