earlier this year, naoto fukasawa worked with the maruni collection to complete the
first collection of furniture which was divided into two series: hiroshima and tradition,
both which used wood as their primary material. hiroshima shows designs that draws out
the charm and beauty of wood, the series has been made through high-quality techniques
in woodworking technology. traditional on the other hand, is a series that was refined from
maruni's best-selling 'versailles' and 'maditerranean' series, so that it would fit more to
the modern aesthetic style.

for 2009 / autumn, fukasawa has introduced new items to the series which are all available
from hiroshima and include an extendable table, a sideboard, coffee table and sofa
and lounge chair.
