designer naoto fukasawa recently designed a collection of paper products for the japanese paper
company onao. the 'siwa' collection uses the company’s new ‘noaton’ paper in different ways.
most of the collection uses disposable archetypes and transforms them into more durable products.
the special paper can be used in these applications because it is tear resistant. the company
traditionally makes washi paper that is more associated with crafty products. fukasawa’s aim was to
develop products, which can be used everyday and update the company’s image for the modern day.
