This might just be the greatest sofa in the world, and it’s taken me eight years to find. Designed back in 2002 by Fernando and Humberto Campana and manufactured by Edra the softly woven fabric resembles “a large nest that holds many people – lying down, sitting or curled up – who can also crawl inside the weave to feel even more protected”.
With no frame, BOA consists of 90 meters of tubular velvet filled with flexible and breathable polyurethane chips, knotted with extreme manual expertise to form a large irregular weave.
