indonesian designer alvin tjitrowirjo sent us images of his new design 'linger' bench.
the bench is made of natural rattan and is produced by hand, as opposed to machines.
its organic shape and size is meant to bring people together to sit, linger and socialize.
tjitrowirjo works to revive the indonesian design industry and communicate indonesia's
design character through the use of high quality materials and craftsmanship.
he concentrates on using traditional techniques and combines them with a more
contemporary approach to form.
