document light by gaby crohn
the document light at its bare minimum with no lampshade

gabriella crohn has designed the document lamp, a table lamp without a lampshade.
on the upper part of the lamp, there are two concentric metal hoops which have been designed
so that one can trap documents, receipts, memos and other paper files inside to create a lampshade.
the lamp is part of a project called 'substitutes' which reinterprets the idea of storage.
we keep a lot of things which kind of lay around unused, filling space. the lamp responds to that
by taking paper documents we'd keep for a fixed amount of time before throwing them out,
and utilizing them in a functional way.
receipts, bills, diary pages are slid in between two rings and used to make a lampshade
