URWERK Timepieces

URWERK 103series
This 'cool' timepiece does its share in puzzling, telling the time, as well as mesmerizing with its unusual way of presenting the moments in time. You will find yourself drawn into it when you finishes reading this post. These watches does not required any batteries at all; and unless you can stay completely still for 43 hours, the natural movements of your wrists would be enough to crank the power up for it to run constantly. You will wonder, what are these dials, needles, and displays are for; when they are placed underneath the watch face? These timepieces are crafted; not mass-manufactured.
A crafted item has to be beautifully done. It is NOT only elegant for others to see, but also for yourself to keep and enjoy for life. Therefore, it is only available in a very-very-limited collection. You will find yourself gazing into the elegance it expresses through the boldness use of materials, textures, and colour selection.

URWERK 202

Unveiled only by this April in Geneva, this timepiece showcases the craftmanship of its luxury, elegant, as well as mastery in micro-engineering of the Swiss' clocks & watches making practices since centuries ago.
You may wonder what are these displayed at the bottom of the timepieces this time. It is not a display of dials and needles -- Rather, it showcases the miniature pressurized air chambers, miniature air compressors, and twin miniature air-turbines; this 'enclosed' wind turbine generator is used to power up all those complex mechanical actions inside the timepieces.

With the design like this and parts with tolerance of only 1/1000mm, who would dare say, "precise engineering is systematical, and not beauty?"
Pretty, witty, and packed with powerful features, I say.

Regards,

Aelf
